Storied
GEORGIA
COMING SUMMER OF 2024.
Storied Georgia offers storytellers a rare chance to bring light to events, people, and innovations that have shaped the state but might not be widely recognized.
By aiming to capture the voices of everyday Georgians, we want to emphasize community engagement and the importance of oral history. This approach allows for a deeper, more personal connection to the state's past, making history accessible and relatable to a wide audience.
BE OUR GUEST:
A call for the voices of Georgia.
This is an invitation to storytellers, historians, and anyone fascinated by the seldom-told stories of our state's past. We're seeking volunteers passionate about the Georgian experience, ready to bring to life the unique tales that define our region. Our aim is to capture the voices of everyday people engaging in meaningful dialogues about their lives and memories. Select stories will be recorded and shared with the public through a podcast.
We're open to a broad range of topics and eagerly welcome new ideas. The list is unending—your unique voices and perspectives are key.
*Participants must be available for an online podcast recording session with our host.
